More green buses to hit the road in Jinshan

Jinshan District is putting in more efforts to promote environmentally friendly public transport.

By the end of this year, 135 new energy buses will hit the road, raising the total number to 526.

The district has planned to build 600 public charging poles this year, of which 450 have already been completed. They are located in parking lots in main tourist sites, malls and enterprises. Construction for 14 public quick charging stations is set to be launched soon, which is expected to be finished and put into operation next year.

Altogether 195 new energy car-sharing spots are now operating on a trial basis in governmental and public institutions. They report an average of 300 rentals a day.
