Amer to invest 10 billion yuan in Jinshan's high-tech industry

Amer International Group from Shenzhen signed an agreement with Jinshan District on Monday to invest 10 billion yuan (US$1.5 billion) for the district's hi-tech industry development.

Deputy District Party Secretary and Governor Hu Weiguo attended the ceremony.

The two parties will cooperate in the field of new materials, smart manufacturing and energy saving, with Amer funding the building of advanced manufacturing projects and industrial research institute and cultural innovation park in the district.
The project is expected to generate 50 billion yuan in production value upon completion.

Amer International Group, an industrial giant focusing on new materials development and investment, is listed among the Fortune 500 companies this year.
