Jinshan is speeding up infrastructure construction to optimize the business environment in the district's development park.

When the park began to invite business and investment years ago, potential investors usually would ask questions about skill training, residential, medical and educational resources in the area, said Zhou Yongchao, president of New Jinshan Industrial Investment and Development Co Ltd.

"As a suburban industrial park, we still need to make some improvements in these areas if we are going to attract more investors," Zhou said.

The first phase of Jinshuihu Industrial Community, covering an area of 1.58 square kilometers, was put into use in 2012. Quality residential projects have been delivered then, equipped with 150,000-square-meter greening landscape as well as malls and exercise facilities.

A 133-hectare farm project was launched to extend industrial production chain and promote local agricultural tourism.

Meanwhile, enterprises settled in the development park will be granted with policy, technology and talent supports. They will also receive monthly medical consultation for employees, law and talent training services.

So far, Jinshan Development Park has attracted 385 companies to settle in the area, involving in new generation of IT, high-end smart equipment, life health and new material industries.

This year it will focus on two key projects of Everdisplay Optronics and Amer International while boosting four land acquisition projects. Several industrial platforms are to be built to support the multi-functional New Jinshan, Zhou said.
