Jinshan health clinic now offers services to travelers

May 15, 2019

The Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center in Jinshan District has started providing consultation and treatment service for travelers before and after they travel overseas.

It's also the first medical service for international travelers in China.

"More and more international activities in China means more foreigners are coming to the country, so we need professional institutions to provide accurate and timely medical service for patients both at home and from abroad," Zhu Tongyu, director of the center, said.

The center also provides outpatient services for travelers at its branch in Hongkou District every Tuesday, offering consultation for disease prevention and treatment, vaccination and physical examination.

The center will join hands with the WTO and Swiss TPH to form a team of experts from home and abroad on tropical diseases to provide professional services for travelers and workers abroad as well.
