Jinshan high school bags bronze at RoboCup

Aug 2, 2019

No. 3 Senior High School Attached to East China Normal University won the bronze medal in the high-school category at the 2019 RoboCup held in Sydney, Australia, recently.

It's the first time that the Jinshan-based high school has joined the competition. The school is one of the 19 primary and high schools in Jinshan to conduct robotic classes. The Jinshan District Robotic Alliance was set up in 2014.

Teachers and students from the suburban district won one gold medal, two silvers and four bronzes at the Cross-straits, Hong Kong & Macau Robotics Competition at Ocean Park in Hong Kong in early July.

The 35 teachers and students were from Jinshan No. 1 Experimental Primary School, Lvxiang Primary School, Zhangyan High School and Jinshan Youth Activity Center. Altogether 215 teams from 56 schools in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland joined that competition.
